Acessibility
The William Trent House Museum is designed to be accessible to all persons with disabilities to the maximum extent possible. The following accessibility features are available:
Should you have any special needs, please call at least a week in advance of your visit at 609.989.3027 and we will do our best to accommodate you.
- A lift is located on the north side of the house, making the first floor accessible to all.
- Accessible van and car parking spaces are provided in the parking lot adjacent to the entrance to the Museum grounds.
- All walkways are ADA compliant and lead to the Visitor Center and the William Trent House. Signage directs visitors to the appropriate accessible entrances.
- Exhibits and programs are presented in the Visitor Center, which includes flexible seating, accessible men’s and women’s restrooms, and drinking fountains.
- A booklet of photographs of the second floor and basement kitchen and a video of the Trent House are available for visitors.
