A nationally known speaker, Peter J. Hatch was responsible for the interpretation and restoration of the 2,400 acre landscape at Jefferson's revered Monticello. His fascinating illustrated lecture will review Jefferson's pioneering experiments in growing new and unusual vegetable novelties from around the globe, resulting in a revolutionary cuisine in the kitchen at Monticello. The restored garden and the Jefferson legacy continue to inspire the farm-to-table movement today.
